Job description
Etihad Airport Services-Ground is seeking a dynamic Finance Data Analyst to support strategic decision-making through data. This high-impact role bridges Finance and IT, ensuring financial insights are embedded in data platform development. The analyst will support programs like activity-based costing and AI-driven forecasting while advocating for data quality, governance, and financial literacy across the organization. Expertise in Python, SQL, Power BI, and familiarity with ERP systems like SAP S4 HANA is required. The role includes data governance, analytical development, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver impactful finance-centric data solutions.

Key responsibilities
- Act as the bridge between Finance and IT to align platform and solution design with business needs.
- Lead finance-centric strategic data initiatives such as activity-based costing and margin analytics.
- Identify and prioritize high-impact data use cases that drive financial insight and value.
- Lead post-rollout efforts on data governance, quality control, and data cataloguing.
- Promote consistent understanding and use of financial metrics like EBITDA across the organization.
- Advocate for data discipline and literacy within the Finance function.
- Sponsor and co-own Finance-led AI, forecasting, and machine learning applications.
- Use SQL, Python, and Power Apps for querying, reporting, and visual storytelling.
- Collaborate with developers, data engineers, scientists, and business teams to generate insights.
Experience & skills
- Masterās degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 5ā10 years of experience in data-centric roles, ideally within Finance, FP&A, or Data Strategy.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Power Apps.
- Experience in financial or operational analytics and understanding of performance metrics.
- Experience with SAP S4 HANA and other ERP systems.
- Expertise in Excel for data analysis, modeling, and reporting.
- Proficiency in extracting and reconciling data from multiple sources.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to bridge business and technical requirements effectively.
