Job description
The Growth Manager ā New Business Models & Mobility Innovation at Al-Futtaim Automotive in Dubai is responsible for driving strategic growth and innovation within the evolving automotive and mobility industry. The role focuses on identifying, analyzing, and developing new business opportunities through rigorous market research, financial modelling, partnerships, and incubation. Working with both internal stakeholders and external industry experts, the Growth Manager will evaluate disruptive business models, emerging automotive technologies, and consumer trends to build actionable strategies. Key functions include preparing business cases, financial models, investment analyses, and due diligence processes. The position requires deep knowledge of mobility trends, advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and PowerPoint. The Growth Manager will actively engage with OEMs, startups, suppliers, and industry leaders to build a robust pipeline of innovation initiatives. This role operates within Al-Futtaim Automotiveās New Business & Acceleration division, which has a start-up mindset and focuses on designing and launching transformative mobility solutions. The mandate includes cross-functional collaboration, thought leadership, and driving go-to-market acceleration of new ventures and partnerships, ultimately shaping the future of mobility in the Middle East, Asia, and Africa.

Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive research and analysis on emerging trends, consumer behaviors, and disruptive business models in automotive and mobility sectors
- Evaluate market opportunities and develop strategic recommendations using business intelligence and industry data
- Create compelling reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting opportunities, business cases, and innovation strategies
- Engage with external partners including industry leaders, suppliers, and startups to monitor mobility trends and build an innovation pipeline
- Support development of financial models and investment cases for new ventures, partnerships, or acquisitions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to refine concepts and accelerate go-to-market efforts
- Assist in due diligence processes ensuring commercial, technical, legal, and financial alignment
- Contribute to thought leadership by sharing insights and market trends with internal teams and executive leadership
Experience & skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience in strategy consulting, new business development, OEM/startup environments, or automotive/technology sectors
- Strong experience in market research, opportunity evaluation, and business case development
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Understanding of mobility trends, emerging automotive technologies, and disruptive business models
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience with agile methodology and cross-functional collaboration is preferred
- University degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or related field; MBA is a plus
- Proven ability to manage projects from concept through execution with minimal oversight
- High attention to detail and results-driven mindset
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to influence and collaborate across levels
