Mercer Middle East’s HR Transformation Practice is seeking a Senior Engagement Manager – Workforce Planning & Organizational Design to lead complex, high-stakes consulting engagements across Saudi Arabia and the GCC. The role focuses on transforming organizations through large-scale workforce planning and organizational design initiatives aligned with strategic client objectives. Operating within a global consulting environment, the position requires regional expertise and on-site engagement across Saudi Arabia and other GCC countries as required.\n\nThe Senior Engagement Manager will lead and oversee large-scale, multi-disciplinary projects that redefine organizational structures, talent strategies, and workforce models. This includes developing and executing innovative workforce planning frameworks using advanced workforce analytics, predictive modeling, and scenario planning to anticipate future talent needs and align them with long-term business strategy.\n\nA core component of the role is driving organizational design initiatives that integrate change management, cultural transformation, and leadership development to ensure sustainable impact. The position requires deep expertise in organizational diagnostics and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations for C-suite executives and senior stakeholders.\n\nThe role also involves providing strategic advisory services, influencing executive decision-making, and delivering measurable results within the GCC region. Experience & skills
- Possess 10+ years of consulting or strategic advisory experience with a strong focus on organizational design, workforce planning, and change management within the GCC region
- Demonstrate proven success leading complex, high-stakes projects at a senior level, delivering measurable results and strategic impact for organizations
- Exhibit deep expertise in advanced workforce analytics, predictive modeling, scenario planning, and organizational diagnostics to support data-driven decision-making
- Show strong strategic thinking and business acumen with the ability to influence and advise C-suite executives and senior stakeholders effectively
- Demonstrate exceptional leadership, mentorship, and team management capabilities within multi-disciplinary project environments
- Provide fluency in Arabic (spoken and written) to ensure effective communication in the regional context
- Maintain willingness to travel and be on-site in Saudi Arabia and other GCC countries as required to support client engagements
