Job description
Ethylene Cracker, Propane Dehydrogenation (PDH) and Utilities processes are the core of the petrochemical operation this Process Engineer supports in Jubail. Plant operations rely on your technical input, including Heat & Material balance scenarios for different operating cases. Proposed design changes are evaluated with environmental and economic factors in mind. Process chemists and control engineers work alongside you to push output levels and efficiency. Simulation work covers developing and testing process models to assess expansion or reconfiguration options, along with scale-up and scale-down changes to equipment design. New projects need evaluating through design, installation and commissioning, with troubleshooting where issues appear. Risk assessments, process documentation and operating instructions are part of the routine. Safety and environmental compliance shapes every recommendation for improved manufacturing processes. Candidates need a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, 5 years of experience and strong business-level English.
