Job description
The Senior Technical Engineer - IT (CRM & Customer Engagement) is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting scalable CRM and customer engagement solutions across the enterprise. This role encompasses end-to-end technical ownership, including customization, integration, deployment, documentation, and mentoring of engineering teams. The position ensures robust and secure CRM solutions aligned with business and IT standards while fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Lead technical design and development for CRM platforms (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, HubSpot) and engagement solutions.
- Translate functional and non-functional requirements into technical specifications and align with solution architects.
- Integrate CRM systems with other enterprise applications while maintaining data integrity.
- Manage license usage and enforce security controls including user access management.
- Oversee, mentor, and coach software engineering teams on best practices, architectural patterns, and quality standards.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for design, deployment, configuration, and integration of CRM and engagement solutions.
- Lead discovery phases, proof-of-concepts, and prototype validations for medium-to-large projects.
- Advocate automation and lean principles, perform root cause analysis, and contribute to software/data engineering playbooks.
- Investigate and resolve complex technical issues, including corner cases and rare conditions.
- Develop frameworks to improve software quality and engineer productivity.
- Measure software metrics for agility, scalability, data quality, and system reliability.
- Provide input into technical debt remediation strategy, collaborating with infrastructure, service, and cybersecurity teams.
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in CRM systems design, implementation, and support.
- Airline or travel industry experience preferred.
- Proficient in working in multicultural environments.
- Fluent in English.
- Strong competencies in customer focus, teamwork, communication, personal accountability, and resilience.
- Experience leading software engineering teams and mentoring technical staff.
