Job description
The Partner Solutions Engineer at Cloudflare is a senior presales role focused on enabling partners across EMEA by driving the technical sales process, delivering impactful demonstrations, supporting proofs-of-concept, and serving as a trusted advisor in solution architecture. Based in Dubai, this hybrid position plays a key role in deepening Cloudflare's strategic influence across major partner accounts by promoting the company’s full suite of performance, reliability, and security products. This role requires fluency in English and a strong foundation in internet protocols, cloud architecture, and cybersecurity technologies, with up to 40% travel expected.

Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain long-term technical relationships with EMEA partners to increase Cloudflare’s presence and solution adoption.
- Drive technical solution design conversations and guide partners through qualification and technical wins.
- Deliver product demonstrations and support proofs-of-concept tailored to partner use cases.
- Act as a technical advocate for partners internally at Cloudflare, influencing Product and Engineering teams.
- Represent Cloudflare at industry events, conferences, and partner engagements across EMEA (up to 40% travel).
- Support partners in building champion-level technical relationships and pipelines.
- Participate in account planning and collaborate with global sales, solutions engineering, and product management teams.
- Evangelize Cloudflare’s vision and services to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience & skills
- Fluency in English (verbal and written); additional languages like German are a plus.
- Experience managing technical sales within large partners and accounts.
- Experience with SASE and Zero Trust Networking architectures.
- Strong knowledge of networking technologies: TCP, UDP, DNS, IPv4/IPv6, BGP, GRE, SD-WAN, MPLS.
- Expertise in internet security technologies: DDoS mitigation, TLS, VPN, DLP.
- Understanding of hybrid and cloud-native architectures across Azure, AWS, and GCP.
- Experience with HTTP technologies including WAF, CDN, reverse/forward proxy, secure web gateway.
- Ability to engage and influence C-level executives and technical stakeholders.
- Strong presentation and communication skills suited for varied audiences.
