Job description
Credit limits for FAB's corporate obligors, across UAE branches, international branches and representative offices, pass through the Credit Control unit at One FAB Tower in Abu Dhabi. This AVP and Lead role supervises the team that encodes and controls those limits day to day. System authorization covers limit encoding and activation, Facility Offer Letters (FOL), Project Payment Certificate (PPC) discounting, Share Valuation Reports (SVR), suspension of interest, write-offs, fixed deposit lien releases and more. Monthly reviews of credit limits in GLCMS and checks on interest rate application (ADI/ACI/GDI/GCI) keep the books accurate. Liability and No Liability Certificates also need your sign-off. Control is the other half of the job, from SOPs, SLAs and Process Notes to the annual RCSA, Business Continuity Plan and Business Impact Analysis. Targets are strict, with zero loss, no critical audit findings and at least 95% adherence to TAT. Team leadership runs alongside all of this, including task allocation, leave planning, on-the-job training and regular performance feedback. Expect to bring at least 6 years in the banking sector with progressively increasing managerial responsibility in the credit facility function.
