The Assistant Director of Engineering at Four Seasons Hotel Madinah is responsible for assisting the Director of Engineering in all aspects of hotel facilities management, building maintenance, and landscaping operations for a luxury hotel located near Al-Masjid an-Nabawi. The role encompasses oversight of electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, heating/cooling, painting, carpentry, structural maintenance, recycling programs, grounds care, parking areas, outsourced gardening teams, and fire and safety compliance. The Assistant Director ensures that all guest and employee inquiries are handled efficiently, courteously, and professionally, maintaining high standards of safety, comfort, and service. Responsibilities include talent leadership and development, implementing and following up on work schedules, preparing requisitions and work orders, executing preventative maintenance programs, monitoring energy consumption and meter readings, and supporting the hotel Safety Committee and energy conservation initiatives. The position requires hotel opening experience, expert technical knowledge of building maintenance and environmental standards, strong strategic and analytical skills, business acumen, attention to detail, and a commitment to promoting continuous learning and professional development for the engineering team. Fluency in Arabic and English is essential, and candidates must be eligible to work in Madinah, Saudi Arabia.
