Job description
The Manager – Operations at Qiddiya Film Studio is responsible for overseeing and leading the full spectrum of operational activities within a high-profile, state-of-the-art film production facility. The role requires ensuring that all film productions, including pre-production, principal photography, and post-production, are executed efficiently, on schedule, and within budget, while maintaining alignment with Qiddiya's creative vision, organizational goals, and industry best practices. This position involves strategic planning and hands-on management of studio workflows, including resource allocation, scheduling, equipment logistics, and maintenance to ensure operational continuity. The Manager is also accountable for developing, implementing, and continuously improving operational policies and procedures that enhance studio productivity and support creative teams. This includes collaborating with department heads, production staff, and external partners to optimize processes and ensure seamless coordination across multiple projects simultaneously. The role requires monitoring financial performance of productions, managing operational budgets, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols and legal standards. Additionally, the Manager evaluates and integrates emerging technologies, methodologies, and best practices in film production to enhance studio capabilities. This position is pivotal in cultivating a collaborative, high-performing environment that encourages innovation, professional development, and excellence across all operational aspects of the film studio, ultimately contributing to Qiddiya’s broader mission of delivering world-class cultural and entertainment experiences.

Key responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the film studio to ensure productions run smoothly and are completed on time and within budget
- Collaborate with creative teams to understand production needs and provide operational support throughout filming
- Create and implement operational policies and procedures to improve workflow and efficiency
- Oversee scheduling, resource allocation, equipment management, and studio maintenance
- Develop and manage the operational budget for the film studio
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols during all productions
- Foster a collaborative environment promoting open communication and teamwork among production staff
- Evaluate and implement new technologies and methodologies to enhance production capabilities
Experience & skills
- Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Media Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in operations management within the film or media industry
- Proven track record in managing film production logistics and workflows
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with film production software and equipment is a plus
