Job description
The Senior Enterprise Account Executive - Oil & Gas role is responsible for producing new business sales revenue from a SaaS license model by developing and executing account strategies, territory planning, and leveraging business development techniques. The position involves building trusted advisor relationships with multiple C-suite personas, orchestrating account strategies across virtual teams including Solutions Consultants, Specialists, Success resources, Partners, and Marketing. The role requires advising clients on how ServiceNow can enhance their IT roadmap, integrating AI-powered tools, automating workflows, and leveraging AI-driven insights. It also includes identifying the right specialist resources for deals, achieving sales targets, negotiating deals, and promoting a customer success mindset in a collaborative team environment. This position requires deep knowledge of the Oil & Gas sector to effectively engage with industry-specific clients and deliver value using ServiceNow solutions.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with multiple C-suite executives (CFO, CIO, COO, CDO) across product sales
- Oversee client relationship mapping and orchestrate account strategy across virtual teams
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their business needs and advising on IT roadmap improvements using ServiceNow solutions
- Identify and involve the appropriate specialist/support resources at the correct stage of a deal
- Produce new business, negotiate deals, and maintain healthy C-Level relationships
- Achieve sales targets within assigned territory or industry vertical
- Integrate AI into workflows, decision-making, or business processes for clients where applicable
- Promote a customer success focus and team-oriented environment
Experience & skills
- Extensive experience in software or solutions sales organizations
- Proven track record of establishing trusted relationships with clients and internal teams
- Experience producing new business, negotiating deals, and maintaining strong C-Level relationships
- Experience achieving sales targets
- Experience leveraging AI to improve business processes, decision-making, or workflow automation
- Ability to understand the broader IT landscape and ServiceNow’s role in client strategy
