Portfolio companies, investment valuations and impairment assessments set this Abu Dhabi finance role apart from a standard corporate finance post at a government-backed fund. Core accounting, financial controls and month-end and year-end reporting are overseen here. Budgeting, forecasting and financial planning cover both the organisation and its portfolio. Cash flow, treasury, banking relationships and liquidity are managed directly. Portfolio company reporting comes through you, alongside support for valuations and impairment reviews. VAT, corporate tax, accounting standards and internal policies all need to be complied with. Processes, systems, controls and management reporting are strengthened across the group, and a team reports to you. Eight to ten years of finance experience, ideally in investment or holding company settings, is required for this permanent, on-site role. ACA, ACCA, CPA or CMA is highly advantageous.
