Job description
The experienced inhouse Project Manager drives successful implementation of projects of various scale and complexity, from small process enhancements to large-scale programs of market entry or M&A nature. Working directly with senior leadership teams and key subject matter experts under the head of project management function, the role owns end-to-end delivery from ideation to closure and benefit realization, ensuring completion on time, within budget, and within scope. Responsibilities span project planning and strategy (defining goals, objectives, scope; developing comprehensive project plans with timelines, budgets, resource requirements, and critical milestones; identifying risks and developing contingency plans; aligning initiatives with overall business strategy and regulatory standards and guidelines), project execution and monitoring (leading cross-functional teams; communicating deliverables, expectations, and timelines; tracking progress against schedules, budgets, and quality standards; proactively addressing roadblocks; deploying appropriate project management methodologies), stakeholder management (fostering relationships with department heads, SMEs, and executives; coordinating across teams; facilitating regular updates and presentations; maintaining transparency), and quality assurance and documentation (overseeing project documentation including project plans, WBS, risk register, action tracker and regular reporting; conducting QA checks; facilitating post-project evaluations; ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices). Tooling and methods include MS Project, PowerPoint, Visio, Jira, Wrike, Agile and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), with knowledge of creating user stories, features, epics and supporting UAT. The role includes analysis and support in producing project proposals or business cases and demands high attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to juggle multiple projects while applying PMP/PRINCE2-aligned practices within healthcare or insurance contexts.

- Own project delivery holistically and apply business judgment to recommend better delivery approaches

- Collaborate with senior management to define project goals, objectives, and scope
- Develop comprehensive project plans including timelines, budgets, resource requirements, and critical milestones
- Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate project barriers
- Align project initiatives with overall business strategy and applicable regulatory standards and guidelines
- Lead cross-functional project teams of subject matter experts from various departments
- Communicate project deliverables, expectations, and timelines to team members and stakeholders
- Monitor and track project progress against established schedules, budgets, and quality standards
- Proactively identify and resolve project roadblocks or issues to maintain momentum
- Deploy appropriate project management methodologies to ensure delivery within scope, budget, and timeline
- Foster positive relationships with internal stakeholders including department heads, SMEs, and executives
- Coordinate across teams to ensure seamless project collaboration and integration
- Facilitate regular project update meetings and presentations on status, risks, and critical decisions
- Address stakeholder concerns and maintain transparency throughout the project lifecycle
- Oversee project documentation (project plans, WBS, risk register, action tracker, regular reporting) ensuring accuracy and accessibility
- Conduct regular quality assurance checks to ensure outputs meet standards and requirements
- Facilitate post-project evaluations to capture lessons learned and identify improvements
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices
- Analyze and support the production of project proposals or business cases
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field
- Bring 7–10 years of proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably within the healthcare or insurance industry
- Possess professional certifications in project management (such as PMP or PRINCE2) as an advantage
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with executives, managers, and subject matter experts
- Show strong knowledge of project management tools and methodologies including MS Project, PowerPoint, Visio, Jira, and Wrike
- Exhibit excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
- Prioritize competing demands and guide teams through challenging situations
- Display high attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Demonstrate knowledge of creating user stories, features, epics, and supporting UAT as needed
- Be a self-starter able to plan and lead work sessions with minimal oversight
- Present good knowledge and experience in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and Agile overall
