Job description
The Manager, Retail Media Ads Growth role at talabat is a high-impact, hands-on position within the Retail Media Growth team, responsible for driving advertising revenue across a portfolio of major and long-tail advertiser accounts throughout the MENA region. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Retail Media Growth, the role focuses on expanding advertiser relationships, executing end-to-end retail media campaigns, and unlocking incremental revenue through tailored ad solutions. The position requires strong ad tech expertise, commercial acumen, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Growth teams to maximize advertiser ROI and scale retail media offerings in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Own and grow a portfolio of advertiser accounts across MENA, including key and long-tail clients
- Drive ad sales growth by identifying opportunities, pitching retail media solutions, and executing campaigns end-to-end
- Build and maintain strong relationships with CPG brands, agencies, and suppliers as a trusted retail media advisor
- Execute go-to-market strategies at the account level, including campaign planning, targeting, and reporting
- Track account and campaign performance, identifying upsell and growth opportunities
- Provide actionable insights and performance feedback to internal stakeholders
- Leverage ad tech knowledge to recommend optimal solutions and improve campaign performance
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Growth teams to develop tailored advertising solutions
- Support strategic initiatives such as seasonal campaigns, category growth plans, and regional expansion
Experience & skills
- 4–6 years of experience in ads tech, retail media, digital advertising, or account management
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in digital advertising or retail media
- Strong understanding of ad tech platforms or retail media ecosystems
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and campaigns simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to optimize performance
- Self-starter with a proactive, ownership-driven approach to account growth
