Job description
The Senior Manager of IT PMO will lead ERP-related initiatives, overseeing analysis, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise applications. The role is responsible for ensuring data security, zero data loss, and seamless availability of ERP systems. The position requires technical management, issue resolution, audit compliance, and SLA monitoring while maintaining strong stakeholder engagement. Strategic responsibilities include shaping departmental strategies, managing budgets, monitoring KPIs, and driving cost efficiencies. The role emphasizes people leadership by fostering accountability, ensuring team resourcing, and cultivating a learning and development culture.

Key responsibilities
- Lead analysis, identification and implementation of ERP applications aiming to derive maximum value from services.
- Determine the cost and benefit of new ERP approaches and represent findings for management approval.
- Manage the availability of secured applications and database backup with zero vulnerability and zero data loss.
- Provide technical management to monitor changes in existing ERP applications and plan training for new services.
- Direct efficient resolution of ERP issues and dive deep into root causes to ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, understand needs and technical requirements, and oversee customer satisfaction.
- Stay abreast of industry developments, updates, and upgrades of Enterprise Applications to develop cost-effective tools.
- Answer internal and external audit queries related to ERP applications and ensure gaps are filled.
- Manage and monitor service desk SLAs and performance.
- Provide visionary leadership, supervision, and guidance to the team with clear expectations and accountability.
- Resource and develop the team, including service transition activities and development for current issue advisory.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Ensure the team has access to necessary resources including budget and technology.
- Participate in building enterprise applications department strategies.
- Monitor department KPIs and provide timely reports for review and correction.
- Manage department budget and expenses related to ERP applications and identify cost-cutting opportunities.
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification highly desired.
- Excellent English; Arabic is an added advantage.
- 12–15 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience managing IT projects and multi-stream support groups.
- Experience in enterprise system administration, implementation, and support.
- Experience with highly available and scalable storage systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex system issues.
- Project management skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong understanding of network architecture, protocols, and security.
