Job description
The Regional Manager - Spare Parts (Automotive, Global Aftersales) for Al-Futtaim Private Company LLC in Sharjah is responsible for leading the strategic planning, implementation, and expansion of sales and distribution operations for Genuine OEM parts, OES/independent aftermarket parts, tyres, and batteries. The role oversees trade and distribution hubs across the UAE, driving revenue growth, profitability, and market share within the countryâs competitive automotive parts landscape. The incumbent will develop and execute B2B sales strategies through the Al-Futtaim Automotive Trade Counter network, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational efficiency. This position requires strong leadership in managing hub managers and team leaders, maintaining stakeholder relationships, and coordinating with aftermarket, tyres, and battery teams to optimize product range and coverage. The Regional Manager will establish KPIs, monitor performance, and enforce quality standards across service and delivery processes. A key aspect of this role includes identifying new opportunities, managing key accounts, and leading projects that enhance trade counter operations and aftersales excellence. The role combines strategic business development with operational leadership, demanding deep industry knowledge, superior organizational skills, and the ability to deliver measurable outcomes in line with Al-Futtaimâs growth objectives.

Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute the sales strategy for Al-Futtaim Automotive Trade Counter B2B operations including OEM, OES aftermarket parts, tyres, and batteries
- Maximize revenue potential and profitability from trade counter operations to meet sales performance objectives
- Build and manage account structures to expand client base and sales volume
- Lead and coordinate the operations of parts trade and distribution hubs across the UAE
- Collaborate with aftermarket parts, tyres, and battery teams to expand range, coverage, and customer offering
- Identify areas of opportunity to enhance sales performance and efficiency
- Establish and maintain strong internal stakeholder relationships to ensure business alignment
- Lead key projects, committees, and initiatives aimed at improving B2B parts business performance
- Develop and implement long-term strategic goals for sales and operations growth
- Ensure adherence to organizational standards and enforce quality and service delivery benchmarks
- Establish and monitor KPIs measuring output quality, service effectiveness, and SLA compliance
- Manage, coach, and develop hub managers and team leaders to achieve business objectives
- Foster a positive and engaging work environment aligned with the companyâs people strategy
- Ensure all products and services meet expected standards and optimize delivery processes for efficiency
- Maintain operational excellence through regular performance reviews and process improvements
- Report to the Head of B2B and support corporate initiatives that drive business transformation and profitability
Experience & skills
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in a relevant field such as Business, Engineering, or Automotive Management
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the automotive industry, with at least 5 years in senior management overseeing parts sales
- Proven experience managing parts sales businesses and B2B distribution networks
- Comprehensive knowledge of OEM, OES, and aftermarket parts markets within the UAE
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking with focus on financial performance and market share growth
- Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams across multiple locations
- Excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills
- Experience in implementing process improvement and quality control systems
- Ability to work independently, make data-driven decisions, and deliver measurable results
- Strong project management and organizational capabilities
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage internal teams and external partners
- Experience in the independent parts market is an advantage
- Proficiency in establishing KPIs and evaluating business performance against SLAs and quality metrics
