Job description
Emirates Investment Authority is looking for a Corporate Secretary to support its Board and committees and strengthen governance across the organisation. The position sits close to the Executive Board Committee and senior management, advising on corporate governance, UAE legal and regulatory requirements and relevant international standards. You'll plan and coordinate Board and committee calendars, agendas, papers and meetings, making sure decisions and actions are documented and followed through. Board minutes, resolutions, memoranda, policies and formal correspondence all need precise drafting in English and Classical/Modern Standard Arabic (الفصحى). Statutory obligations, filings, governance reporting and Board records fall under this role too, alongside close liaison with ministries, regulators, judicial bodies and external advisers. Only UAE Nationals will be considered, given the high-trust nature of the work and the discretion sensitive Board matters demand. You'll need sound governance judgement, exceptional bilingual drafting capability and a steady hand with confidential material. Shortlisted candidates should expect a formal Arabic drafting assessment as part of the process.
