Job description
The Learning & Development Partner at RAKBANK plays a pivotal role in fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and high performance across the organization. Reporting to the Head of People Experience, the role collaborates closely with business units and HR teams to identify capability gaps and design impactful learning interventions aligned with RAKBANKās strategic objectives and WAVE culture. The position involves conducting Learning Need Analysis (LNA), developing and implementing structured learning programs, and managing their end-to-end delivery, including scheduling, logistics, communication, and post-program evaluation. The incumbent drives enterprise-wide learning initiatives focused on digital transformation, leadership development, and capability building, partnering with internal subject matter experts and external training providers to ensure relevance and quality. Responsibilities also include promoting digital learning adoption through platforms like LinkedIn Learning, MS365 Viva Learning, and internal SharePoint hubs. The role requires monitoring and reporting learning effectiveness through analytical tools, dashboards, and Return on Learning (ROL) metrics, ensuring compliance with Learning Governance and regulatory standards, including Central Bank requirements. The Learning & Development Partner facilitates both in-person and virtual learning sessions to maximize engagement and knowledge retention, while providing data-driven insights to the People Experience leadership for strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in L&D within the financial services industry, with expertise in instructional design, facilitation, and program evaluation, and a strong understanding of the banking sectorās compliance and digital learning landscape.

Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with business units and HR teams to conduct Learning Need Analysis (LNA) and identify skill and capability gaps.
- Design and implement structured learning programs aligned with business objectives and RAKBANKās WAVE culture.
- Manage end-to-end execution of learning initiatives, including scheduling, logistics, participant communication, and evaluation.
- Drive organization-wide learning initiatives, including digital transformation and talent development projects.
- Partner with external training providers and internal subject matter experts to curate and deliver learning content.
- Monitor and report on learning effectiveness, completion rates, and Return on Learning (ROL) using analytics dashboards.
- Promote adoption of digital learning platforms such as LinkedIn Learning, MS365 Viva Learning, and SharePoint.
- Facilitate engaging in-person and virtual sessions to enhance participation and knowledge retention.
- Ensure compliance with the Learning Governance Framework and regulatory standards, including Central Bank reporting.
- Provide data-driven insights and reports to support strategic workforce and learning decisions by leadership.
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree in Human Resources, Business, Education, or related field; Masterās degree preferred.
- Professional certifications such as CIPD, ATD, or equivalent are advantageous.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Learning & Development, preferably within the financial services industry.
- Strong experience in learning need analysis, instructional design, facilitation, and program evaluation.
- Understanding of banking and financial services operations, regulatory compliance, and digital learning transformation.
- Proficiency with digital learning platforms such as LinkedIn Learning, MS365 Viva Learning, and SharePoint.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret learning data and measure impact through ROL and KPI tracking.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills to influence senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
- High resilience and adaptability in fast-paced, dynamic environments with multiple concurrent projects.
