The Sales Manager - Department In-Charge at Nour Arjaan by Rotana in Fujairah is responsible for implementing all sales activities and maximizing business opportunities within assigned market segments in the hospitality and hotel industry. The role focuses on executing sales action plans, achieving revenue targets, and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts. The Sales Manager ensures comprehensive coverage of assigned client portfolio across managerial and departmental levels, delivering high-quality client servicing while maximizing productivity and revenue generation. Responsibilities include establishing pricing parameters, preparing quotations, and negotiating rates for transient and group business associated with the property. The role also involves generating sales leads for Rotana properties, promoting services within assigned markets, and identifying opportunities to expand business. The Sales Manager provides feedback on changing marketing conditions, market trends, and competitor activity through direct sales solicitation, telephone sales, and direct mail campaigns. The position requires maintaining major account files, supporting account management systems, and ensuring adherence to selling strategies during negotiations. The role also focuses on maximizing upselling opportunities, monitoring market performance, and supporting revenue growth. The candidate must hold a degree in sales with a minimum of two years post-graduate experience, ideally within the hotel industry. The position requires computer literacy, strong presentation skills, proficiency in English, and knowledge of hotel operations. The Sales Manager is expected to demonstrate understanding of hotel operations, planning for business, supervising operations, and executing sales strategies to exceed revenue targets while maintaining high standards of customer service and professionalism.

- Implement all sales activities and execute sales action plans to maximize business opportunities, achieve revenue targets, and support hotel sales strategies within assigned market segments
- Ensure comprehensive coverage of assigned client portfolio by engaging with managerial and departmental executives, delivering client servicing, and maintaining strong account relationships to maximize productivity
- Establish pricing parameters, prepare quotations, negotiate rates, and manage transient and group business opportunities in alignment with property objectives
- Promote and generate sales leads for Rotana properties within assigned territories through direct sales solicitation, telephone sales, and direct marketing initiatives
- Provide feedback on changing market conditions, competitor trends, and customer requirements by conducting market analysis and reporting findings to leadership
- Maintain major account files, update account management systems, and ensure accurate tracking of client interactions and opportunities
- Ensure adherence to selling strategies during negotiations while identifying and maximizing upselling opportunities to increase revenue
- Support business planning activities, monitor performance against targets, and implement corrective sales strategies to achieve departmental goals
Experience & skills
- Hold a degree in sales with minimum two years post-graduate work experience ideally within the hotel or hospitality industry
- Demonstrate knowledge of hotel operations, sales planning, and account management within hospitality environments
- Demonstrate experience in implementing sales strategies, managing client portfolios, and achieving revenue targets
- Possess computer literacy with experience using CRM systems, sales reporting tools, and presentation software
- Demonstrate strong negotiation skills, pricing strategy knowledge, and upselling capabilities for transient and group business
- Demonstrate proficiency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills and additional language skills considered an advantage
- Demonstrate experience in market analysis, competitor tracking, and direct sales activities including telephone and direct mail campaigns
