Job description
Trading Manager role within a newly launched B2B deal-led trading platform specializing in IT, electronics, and grey-market commodities in Dubai, UAE. The organization operates as a principal trader across global markets, leveraging data-driven intelligence and trading expertise to source, price, and distribute high-value inventory at scale. The role is responsible for managing the full deal lifecycle across buy-side sourcing and sell-side execution, including identifying and developing supplier relationships across electronics brands, authorized distributors, retailers, and grey-market channels. The position involves sourcing excess stock, promotional inventory, end-of-life products, and opportunistic deals while building a consistent supply pipeline. On the sell-side, the role requires defining sales strategies per deal, managing outbound distribution, responding to RFQs, and maximizing margin realization. The Trading Manager uses evaluator engines to assess deals, calculate landed costs, and optimize pricing strategies while responding dynamically to market pricing changes. The role also involves leading negotiations with suppliers and buyers on pricing, payment terms, and volumes, while building long-term trading relationships across multiple geographies including Middle East, Europe, and Asia. The position demands strong commercial acumen in grey-market trading, excess inventory monetization, and high-volume distribution in competitive global trading environments.
