The Social Media Coordinator at Four Seasons Resort and Residences AMAALA plays a vital role in building and managing the resort’s digital presence during the pre-opening phase and ongoing operations. Reporting to the Director of Public Relations, the role focuses on creating engaging content, managing online communities, and supporting brand awareness across multiple social media platforms. The Social Media Coordinator collaborates with marketing, operations, and food and beverage teams to produce high-quality content aligned with luxury hospitality standards. The role also involves monitoring performance metrics, managing influencer collaborations, and ensuring consistent brand messaging. This position requires creativity, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of digital trends to enhance the resort’s global visibility.

Key responsibilities
- Assist in pre-opening social media activities by supporting the setup and launch of official social media channels across multiple platforms. The Social Media Coordinator will collaborate with the Public Relations and Marketing teams to create a strong digital foundation before the resort opens. This includes building a digital content library, planning content calendars, and ensuring that all social media assets align with the brand identity. The role also involves coordinating photoshoots, gathering visual content, and preparing pre-launch campaigns that generate excitement and awareness about the property. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential to ensure smooth execution during the pre-opening phase.
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging and high-quality content across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook. The Social Media Coordinator will develop visually appealing posts, videos, and stories that showcase the resort’s luxury experience, amenities, and services. This responsibility also includes writing compelling captions, ensuring brand consistency, and maintaining a consistent posting schedule. The coordinator will monitor engagement levels and adjust content strategies to improve audience reach and engagement while maintaining Four Seasons brand standards.
- Collaborate with marketing, food and beverage, and operational teams to develop authentic and engaging content. The Social Media Coordinator will work closely with internal stakeholders to capture daily operations, special events, and guest experiences. This collaboration ensures that content reflects real-time experiences and highlights the unique features of the property. The role requires coordination across departments to schedule content creation sessions and ensure smooth communication between teams.
- Monitor social media platforms and respond to guest inquiries, comments, and messages in a professional and timely manner. The Social Media Coordinator will manage community engagement by interacting with followers and maintaining a positive online presence. This responsibility includes addressing guest feedback, escalating issues when necessary, and ensuring consistent communication aligned with brand voice and tone.
- Track social media performance metrics and prepare detailed reports to evaluate content effectiveness. The Social Media Coordinator will analyze engagement rates, reach, impressions, and audience growth. This analysis helps identify trends, measure campaign success, and recommend improvements. The role also involves presenting insights to the Public Relations and Marketing teams to enhance future content strategies.
- Stay updated with social media trends, tools, and emerging platforms to ensure innovative content strategies. The Social Media Coordinator will research industry trends, competitor activity, and best practices. This responsibility includes experimenting with new content formats, storytelling approaches, and engagement strategies to enhance brand visibility.
Experience & skills
- Previous experience in social media management or digital content creation is required, preferably within luxury hospitality or lifestyle brands. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple platforms and create engaging content. Experience working in pre-opening environments is considered an advantage.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook. Candidates must demonstrate knowledge of platform algorithms, content strategies, and audience engagement techniques. This knowledge is essential for creating effective digital campaigns.
- Creative mindset with strong storytelling and visual content creation skills. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to create engaging content that reflects luxury hospitality standards. Experience with photography, videography, and creative content production is highly desirable.
- Excellent writing and communication skills in both English and Arabic. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to write compelling captions, respond to guest inquiries, and maintain consistent brand messaging. Multilingual communication is essential for engaging global audiences.
- Photo and video editing skills are considered an advantage. Candidates with experience using editing tools and software will have an added benefit. This includes knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar platforms.
- Ability to analyze social media performance metrics and prepare reports. Candidates must demonstrate strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to improve content strategies. Experience with social media analytics tools is preferred.
