Cognizant is seeking a Senior SAP S/4 HANA Developer Consultant to join its Enterprise Value Stream transformation team in Abu Dhabi. The role is central to a major migration from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA, with a focus on leveraging SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and the Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM) for cloud-native application development. Responsibilities include leading the design, development, and integration of SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP solutions; architecting scalable, secure, and high-performance applications; and guiding technical teams through modern cloud-native development practices. The consultant will develop SAP Fiori applications, manage integrations with SAP and third-party systems, optimize application performance, and troubleshoot critical issues. Additional responsibilities include driving agile development practices, mentoring junior developers, contributing to cloud strategy and innovation, documenting technical solutions, and managing stakeholder communication. Candidates must have 8–10 years of SAP development experience, including at least 4–5 years in SAP BTP CAPM, Fiori/UI5, and cloud-native solutions. Strong proficiency in ABAP, JavaScript, Node.js, and integration tools is required. Preferred experience includes aviation or travel industry knowledge, SAP Analytics Cloud, AI/ML integration, and DevOps practices. SAP certifications are highly desirable.
