Job description
Emirates NBD is seeking a Content Governance Manager to define, implement, and oversee written content standards across all customer communication channels within a large-scale digital-first banking environment. The role is responsible for ensuring content quality, consistency, and brand alignment across online and offline touchpoints including web, social, outdoor, and marketing communications. The position owns the development and maintenance of verbal identity guidelines, tone of voice principles, and usage frameworks, and acts as the central authority guiding internal stakeholders and external agency partners on content standards. The role collaborates closely with Group Marketing and agency teams to establish content review workflows, enforce governance processes, and ensure Emirates NBD’s bilingual English and Arabic communications consistently reflect the bank’s brand, customer journeys, and strategic positioning across retail, corporate, and digital banking platforms.

Key responsibilities
- Develop, document, and maintain verbal identity guidelines, tone of voice principles, and content usage frameworks
- Review written content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, tone of voice, and overall brand consistency
- Guide internal teams and external agency partners on applying content standards and governance principles
- Establish and manage content review workflows in collaboration with Group Marketing and relevant stakeholders
- Ensure continued adherence to content governance standards across all customer communication channels
- Support consistent brand-aligned content delivery across online and offline platforms
- Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to align content with customer communication journeys
Experience & skills
- Possess a minimum of 5+ years of experience in copywriting, communications, journalism, or a related field
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline
- Demonstrate native-level proficiency in both English and Arabic with strong command of grammar and writing style
- Show experience managing content across multiple online and offline channels including web, social, and outdoor
- Exhibit proven experience developing and managing content guidelines and standards
- Demonstrate strong understanding of content strategy and customer communication journeys
- Show experience working with content workflows and managing multiple stakeholders and deadlines
