Job description
Connecting operational, project and commercial data to financial outcomes, rather than relying solely on ledger-based reporting, is what this Business Partner Manager, Digital Operations role is built around in Abu Dhabi. You bring management accounting, financial planning, project economics and financial controls together to support the Digital Operations function on a 4 month fixed contract. Budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and business partnering sit at the core of the role, with direct responsibility for challenging business assumptions and advising management. Significant projects or project portfolios get controlled closely, covering budget baselines, commitments, actuals, accruals, forecasts, variations and expected final cost. Senior stakeholders receive financial analysis, recommendations and risk assessments presented clearly and confidently. Procurement, commercial evaluation, contracts, vendor negotiations and contract change control all draw on your input. CAPEX and OPEX analysis, business case review, financial modelling, cost-benefit analysis and investment appraisal run throughout the workload. ERP, EPM and planning tools, along with advanced Excel and Power BI or equivalent analytics, support the reporting and forecasting that keeps management informed.
