Digitally native customers across RoMENA are the focus for this Manama-based Senior Solutions Architect at AWS. Working alongside sales, you own the overall technical relationship between these customers and AWS and help drive revenue growth through the adoption of AWS services. Much of the work involves crafting highly scalable, flexible and resilient cloud architectures that solve real business problems. Recommendations on security, cost, performance, reliability and operational efficiency come from you, and customers moving existing workloads to the cloud will rely on your migration guidance. Architectural discussions run detailed and technical, so keeping your skills current matters. Knowledge transfer is another strand, delivered through one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions for customers considering AWS or already using it. Best practices gathered along the way get shared with the wider AWS solutions architect community. A background of 6+ years in a technology domain such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking or data & analytics is required. Hands-on AWS dev/ops experience, legacy-to-cloud migration work and time in software or Internet-related industries would all help.
