Job description
The HR Manager at Rapyd Dubai oversees all aspects of HR operations, ensuring compliance with DIFC Labor Law and Dubai employment regulations. Responsibilities include managing the full local hiring cycle, coordinating with Global Talent Acquisition, processing UAE visas, maintaining employee records, handling payroll data, and overseeing health insurance enrollments. The role also manages the end-to-end employee journey including onboarding and offboarding, organizes team events and wellbeing initiatives, and handles initial grievance and disciplinary actions with legal accuracy. This position requires adaptability to support high-growth Tech/FinTech operations while maintaining full compliance and accuracy.

Key responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for Dubai employees and managers regarding HR policies and workplace practices.
- Manage the full local hiring cycle from sourcing, interviewing, and pipeline management in coordination with Global TA.
- Execute UAE visa and immigration processes and maintain digital employee records.
- Manage health insurance enrollments and employee benefits.
- Ensure all employment contracts, leave policies, and records comply with DIFC Labor Law.
- Prepare monthly payroll data for processing and assist with local budget tracking and office expenses.
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes for employees.
- Organize local team events and wellbeing initiatives to enhance employee engagement.
- Manage initial grievance and disciplinary steps professionally and in compliance with legal requirements.
Experience & skills
- 3–5 years of HR generalist experience, ideally in high-growth Tech or FinTech environments.
- Strong knowledge of DIFC Labor Law and Dubai-specific employment regulations.
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience managing full recruitment cycles for technical or commercial roles.
- Ability to work at pace in a scaling environment while maintaining 100% accuracy and compliance.
- Hands-on approach to HR operations including visa processing, payroll data management, and office-wide initiatives.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to coordinate across diverse cultures and global stakeholders.
