Job description
The Senior Analyst – BCG Vantage, Procurement role in Riyadh is part of Boston Consulting Group’s client-focused implementation platform. The position supports long-term transformation programs in procurement and operations, working directly with client teams to translate strategy into measurable execution outcomes. As part of BCG Vantage, the Senior Analyst applies domain expertise, analytical rigor, and practical implementation skills to deliver value across sourcing optimization, operating model transformation, cost reduction, and capability building initiatives. The role combines hands-on analytical work with stakeholder engagement, ensuring solutions are practical, sustainable, and aligned with organizational objectives. This position offers exposure to diverse industries, close collaboration with consulting case teams, and opportunities for professional growth within a globally recognized consulting environment.

Key responsibilities
- Drive key work modules within procurement and operations implementation projects, ensuring delivery aligns with defined objectives, timelines, and performance targets.
- Translate strategic recommendations into practical action plans, supporting execution of transformation initiatives across sourcing, cost optimization, and process improvement.
- Conduct detailed quantitative and qualitative analyses, including spend analysis, performance benchmarking, and process diagnostics, to generate actionable insights.
- Support activation of organizational design initiatives and target operating models to improve procurement effectiveness and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with client stakeholders and BCG case teams, communicating findings clearly and confidently to ensure alignment and buy-in.
- Ensure high-quality execution of deliverables, maintaining strong attention to detail, practicality, and measurable impact.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance capabilities, and embed sustainable improvements within client organizations.
- Contribute to the development and codification of knowledge assets, tools, and frameworks, and support onboarding and mentoring of junior colleagues.
Experience & skills
- Minimum 2+ years of consulting experience in operations, procurement, and implementation; alternatively, at least 3–6+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Proven experience in translating business strategy into operational execution within procurement or supply chain functions.
- Strong analytical capabilities with demonstrated ability to analyze data and extract meaningful, actionable insights.
- Experience in procurement transformation, cost optimization initiatives, or operating model redesign is strongly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with additional analytical tools is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA or master’s) preferred.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English (written and verbal).
- Strong business acumen, structured problem-solving skills, and ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel and work on client sites as required.
