The Senior Recreation Specialist (General Recreation VAJ) operates within a 5-star luxury hospitality environment focused on delivering exceptional guest experiences across spa, recreation, and leisure services. The role is responsible for ensuring that all guests receive flawless, high-quality service throughout their journey, from arrival to departure, with a strong emphasis on personalized hospitality and luxury service delivery. The position involves representing the brand at all touchpoints, ensuring guest satisfaction through spa treatments and recreational services delivered to the highest standards of quality and professionalism. The role requires strong emotional intelligence, communication skills, and the ability to manage guest expectations in a fast-paced, high-performance hospitality environment. The Senior Recreation Specialist is accountable for supporting business goals including financial and non-financial performance metrics, ensuring operational efficiency, cost control, and timely completion of initiatives and projects. The role includes analyzing operational workflows, allocating resources effectively, and ensuring seamless coordination across departments. It also involves handling guest complaints, delivering service recovery, and providing constructive feedback to enhance service quality. Key responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences across recreation and spa services by ensuring high-quality, personalized service throughout the guest journey from arrival to departure.
- Perform and oversee spa treatments and recreational services in accordance with luxury hospitality standards and brand expectations.
- Ensure achievement of financial and non-financial business goals by monitoring performance indicators and supporting operational targets.
- Analyze operational processes and allocate resources effectively to optimize service delivery and efficiency.
- Manage guest feedback and complaints by providing effective service recovery solutions and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Provide continuous feedback and coaching to team members to improve service performance and operational excellence.
- Ensure timely completion of projects and initiatives within defined budgets and quality standards.
- Maintain seamless communication across all levels of the organization to ensure coordination and alignment in service delivery.
Experience & skills
- Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within a 5-star luxury hospitality environment.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Beauty Therapy, Hotel Management, or related field, or minimum high school diploma as baseline requirement.
- Demonstrate strong guest service personality with high emotional intelligence and customer-focused mindset.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills in English, with additional language proficiency considered an advantage.
- Demonstrate ability to deliver spa and recreational services to high luxury standards.
- Show capability in managing guest complaints and delivering effective service recovery solutions.
- Possess strong adaptability, resilience, and ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Demonstrate ability to manage operational performance, resource allocation, and service quality standards.
