Job description
Spare parts availability across every United Diesel warehouse and branch decides how well Renault Trucks and Tata Motors customers are served after the sale, and this Inventory, Procurement & Pricing Manager in Dubai keeps that stock right. Stock levels are balanced to avoid both shortages and overstock, with fast and slow movers analysed to improve turnover and cut holding costs. Inter-branch transfers and periodic and annual stock counts keep records accurate. Procurement follows sales forecasts, OEM targets and customer demand, with purchase orders issued to local and international suppliers and shipments, customs and logistics tracked to delivery. Vendors are negotiated with on price, delivery and payment terms, and their performance is measured on quality, cost and service. Pricing is set with the pricing team to stay competitive and profitable, while alternative sourcing and supplier consolidation help bring costs down. ERP and dealer management systems such as SAP or Oracle must hold accurate data, and regular reports cover inventory health, procurement KPIs and financial exposure. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in supply chain, business or engineering, 8 to 12 years in inventory control and procurement, preferably in automotive or spare parts, and knowledge of international sourcing and import regulations.
