Job description
Omantel's relationships with government, regulators and national institutions carry real weight for the business, and this Senior Manager looks after them from Muscat. Reporting to the General Manager Corporate Branding & Communication, the role sits within Corporate Affairs & Branding in the Strategy & Innovation unit. On the communications side, you develop a technology communication strategy for the digital transformation story and a regional and global PR strategy for key markets. Local, regional and global PR coverage and thought leadership initiatives are managed here, as is a 'key people' positioning strategy. Reputational issues are tracked closely, with guidance given on sensitive matters and public perception. Briefings and reports for executive leadership cover policy, stakeholder sentiment and external trends. Expect to bring 8 to 15 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 in management, and a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline such as Commerce.
