Job description
The Facility Manager at Aramex is responsible for ensuring the seamless operation, safety, and maintenance of the company's facilities, including warehouses and offices. This role oversees preventive maintenance programs, vendor coordination, safety compliance, emergency planning, and budget management. The manager plays a strategic role in aligning facility operations with the companyâs logistics goals, supervising facility teams, and managing infrastructure in support of business efficiency and resilience. A proactive, detail-oriented leader with experience in industrial and office environments is ideal for this position.

Key responsibilities
- Oversee the management, maintenance, and operations of Aramexâs facilities, including warehouses and offices.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general systems.
- Monitor and control the facilities budget, including utilities, repairs, and maintenance costs.
- Ensure compliance with local, regional, and international health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for maintenance, repairs, and construction activities.
- Supervise daily activities of facility staff, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company standards.
- Manage space allocation within facilities to support operational and logistics efficiency.
- Develop and implement emergency response and disaster recovery plans.
- Ensure functionality and upkeep of security systems, fire alarms, and other safety equipment.
- Conduct regular safety drills and training sessions for staff.
- Collaborate with senior management to align facility operations with business goals.
Experience & skills
- Bachelorâs degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Professional certifications such as IFMA or BOMA are a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in facility management, particularly in industrial or warehouse settings.
- Experience managing maintenance teams and vendors.
- Proficiency in facility management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
