Job description
The Specialist - Partner Operations at CPX is responsible for driving the operational and commercial effectiveness of the company’s cybersecurity and technology partner ecosystem. This role ensures optimal management of partner programs, incentives, and compliance requirements across vendors such as Cisco, Microsoft, Palo Alto Networks, CrowdStrike, and Fortinet. The position requires deep knowledge of channel operations, MDF and rebate structures, and tier governance to maintain elite-level partner certifications. The incumbent collaborates across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Vendor Management teams to enhance partner engagement, maximize profitability, and ensure data accuracy across CRM and vendor systems. The role encompasses operational execution of partner funding, reporting, and lifecycle management, ensuring alignment with organizational strategies and vendor expectations. Candidates must have strong financial acumen, proficiency in pricing and margin analysis, and experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives within the cybersecurity or enterprise IT sectors.

Key responsibilities
- Identify and secure Marketing Development Funds (MDF) and joint go-to-market investments from strategic partners
- Maximize rebate and incentive programs tied to certifications, sales targets, and solution categories
- Collaborate with Finance, Sales, and Vendor Account Managers to ensure timely submission of claims and audit readiness
- Support onboarding and lifecycle management for strategic partners
- Execute operational requirements to maintain or enhance partner program tiers such as Cisco Gold, Microsoft Solutions Partner, and Palo Alto Elite
- Track certification progress, enablement milestones, and renewal timelines for all key vendor partnerships
- Prepare and submit vendor-required reports, KPIs, business plans, and audit documentation
- Analyze partner pricing, discount, and rebate structures to improve deal profitability
- Support bid management and procurement teams with partner pricing insights and optimization strategies
- Develop dashboards tracking partner-sourced and influenced pipelines across CRM, finance, and vendor portals
- Prepare executive-level reports and presentations for quarterly business reviews and vendor meetings
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of partner data across systems and reporting tools
- Serve as an operational liaison between Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Vendor Management teams to drive alignment on campaigns, pipeline growth, and partner enablement initiatives
Experience & skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in partner operations, channel management, or vendor program administration within cybersecurity or enterprise IT environments
- Demonstrated success in managing partner programs for major vendors such as Cisco, Microsoft, Palo Alto Networks, CrowdStrike, or Fortinet
- Strong understanding of Marketing Development Funds (MDF), rebate programs, tier management, and channel sales processes
- Proven ability to analyze pricing models, margin impact, and incentive performance for improved profitability
- Financial literacy and analytical capability to evaluate deal structures and program returns
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Strong presentation and reporting skills with experience preparing executive-level materials
- Proficiency in CRM systems and data management for performance tracking and analytics
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or Finance
- Certifications in vendor partner programs or ITIL preferred
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
