Job description
Riyadh's metro programme brings together construction and infrastructure projects at a scale that makes risk management a full time discipline, and that's where this role sits within Egis's PMCM team. Identifying, assessing and mitigating risk across metro and construction projects forms the core of the job, working closely with project teams on comprehensive risk management strategies. You'll apply established risk management frameworks and methodologies, including ISO 31000 and PMBOK, to identify, assess and analyze project risks, then build mitigation and contingency plans to keep project impact to a minimum. Risk indicators and key performance metrics get monitored, tracked and reported throughout each project lifecycle, with risk registers and risk databases kept current across every active project using dedicated risk management software. Regular risk assessments and reviews confirm ongoing compliance with organizational standards, and detailed risk reports go out to project stakeholders and senior management. Project managers, engineers and cross-functional teams all rely on this role to fold risk management into project planning from the outset. Beyond the day to day, the role trains project teams on risk management best practices and stays alert to emerging risks before they become problems. Adherence to risk management policies, procedures and regulatory requirements runs through every part of the position.
