Job description
HPE sells much of its edge-to-cloud portfolio in Africa through partners, and this Territory Manager is the person those partners turn to for direction. Value Added Resellers, Distributors, SIs, ISVs and Managed Service Providers all fall within scope. Joint business plans sit at the heart of the work, driving HPE revenue, profitability and pipeline through data-driven sales efforts with each partner. Selling happens three ways, with, to and through the partner, and solutions are tailored to each partner's customer profile to hit quota. Executive-level relationships help grow market share, while account mapping with HPE field sales keeps everyone aligned. Much of the week goes into coordinating sales cadence, education, marketing, executive briefings, forecasting and client engagements, bringing in HPE specialists where needed. Partners are also pushed to commit more sellers and Solution Architects to the HPE portfolio, and new partners may be recruited along the way. Compliance with HPE's SBC requirements for Partners, including legal obligations, is part of the job. The role is hybrid, with around 2 days a week in an HPE office, and calls for 7+ years of selling at end-user or partner level along with fluent French and English.
