Job description
The Director of Marketing and Communications for Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab will lead the strategic development and execution of comprehensive marketing initiatives aligned with Jumeirah’s global brand strategy. This includes oversight of annual marketing planning, budget management, team development, and campaign execution across digital, sales, and communication channels. The role partners closely with internal stakeholders including the brand team, digital marketing, sales, and general management to ensure all marketing activities drive brand performance, revenue growth, and consistent luxury positioning. Technical expertise in Microsoft Office, digital marketing channels like SEO and PPC, CRM, and property management systems is essential. The successful candidate must be highly experienced in luxury hospitality marketing, demonstrate strong leadership, creativity, budgetary discipline, and the ability to align with corporate marketing and brand objectives.

Key responsibilities
- Develop annual marketing strategy in alignment with sales, communications, brand, and digital teams
- Oversee and manage marketing budgets ensuring alignment with external agency use
- Grow, inspire, and lead the marketing team, establishing best practices and performance standards
- Partner with sales and marketing to manage direct channel marketing programs that impact revenue
- Coordinate with the Regional VP of MEASA Sales & Marketing and General Managers for campaigns
- Align marketing activities with Jumeirah Brand Strategy and ensure brand performance and visibility
- Bring the Jumeirah brand to life among regional stakeholders and customer segments
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Studies, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred)
- 10–12 years of marketing experience in the hospitality industry, preferably luxury brands
- Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Office, digital marketing (SEO, PPC, GDS), and CRM/property systems
- Proven leadership and strategic thinking with strong analytical and budget management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with results orientation and flexibility
