Job description
Branches, support units, Tamooha Operations and the work hub in Al Ain all report through this regional head at Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB), part of Group Business Services (GBS). UAE National employees at the centre are coached, given clear direction and supported with the resources they need to grow. Regional strategy is set in line with bank objectives, and performance metrics are monitored with corrective action where needed. A team providing RM-related support to CIBG clients sits under your oversight, along with SOP adherence, capacity planning, EOD controls, TATs and SLAs. Operational risk, losses, fraud, cash differences and exceptions are driven down, audit readiness is maintained and findings are remediated on time. Retail Banking, Corporate & Investment Banking, Group Credit, ITMAM, Group Risk and Group Compliance treat you as their main contact for the region. Staffing plans, shift patterns, leave calendars, training schedules and operating expenditure within thresholds need your approval. Senior management meetings, community initiatives, CSR and local forums see you representing the bank in Al Ain. The role is open to UAE Nationals with at least 9 years in people management and leadership, preferably in financial services, and a Bachelor's in Business Administration, Finance or a related field. Knowledge of banking systems such as loan processing, limits and collateral, plus UAE and GCC regulation, is expected.
