The Director, Loan Syndication, Sales & Distribution in Corporate & Investment Banking is responsible for developing and maintaining investor coverage across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia to effectively distribute corporate and financial institution syndicated loan and trade transactions originated by Mashreqbank in primary and secondary markets. The role includes collaborating with coverage teams and investment banking origination to shape Asian syndicated loan strategy, structuring and pricing syndicated loan transactions in line with prevailing market conditions, and developing syndication strategies that ensure successful distribution. The position requires preparing underwriting memos and liquidity analyses for underwritten transactions, producing information packs, and leading bookrunning activities for syndicated loan deals arranged by Mashreq. The director must continuously engage with market counterparties to provide internal stakeholders with updated intelligence on pricing trends, market appetite, and new transaction feasibility. The role also supports the development and digitalization of loan and trade distribution platforms. Success demands strong multi-product investment banking experience, extensive exposure to syndicated loan transactions, robust credit skills, deep domestic and international market knowledge, and an established investor coverage network across core markets. It requires proactive, energetic multitasking capabilities and strong communication and presentation skills aligned with Mashreq's regional leadership in financial services innovation.
