Job description
The Retail Banking Officer – Multi-Product Sales role sits within the RBS MPT unit under Retail Banking Services (Cards & Personal Loans) at Emirates NBD in the United Arab Emirates. The role focuses on driving sales of Credit Cards, Personal Finance, and Bank Accounts to existing and prospective Emirates NBD customers across the UAE, with the objective of increasing the bank’s market share in line with the overall retail banking business strategy. The position also involves sourcing and onboarding new companies onto the bank’s approved employer list and building long-term relationships with these organizations to deepen penetration of retail banking products. In addition to core product sales, the role requires active cross-selling of other retail banking products to enhance overall sales volumes, revenue generation, and profitability. The Retail Banking Officer acts as a professional representative of the bank, providing accurate information on products, services, and related processes, adhering strictly to service standards, internal policies, and procedures. The role also includes maintaining customer feedback, market intelligence, and required data points as directed by the unit and the bank. A valid driving license is mandatory for this position.

Key responsibilities
- Sell Credit Cards, Personal Finance products, and Bank Accounts to existing and prospective retail banking customers
- Cross-sell additional retail banking products to increase overall sales, revenue, and profitability
- Represent the bank professionally by providing accurate information on banking products, services, and processes
- Adhere to bank service standards to ensure best-in-class customer service and customer experience
- Follow all laid-down bank policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Source and onboard new companies to the bank’s approved employer list and build relationships to increase product penetration
- Report and maintain customer feedback, market pulse information, and other required sales or process data
Experience & skills
- Hold a graduate qualification or high school qualification with at least 2 years of relevant experience, with MBA or BBA considered an advantage
- Demonstrate experience in banking or retail sales within international, GCC, or UAE markets
- Possess selling and marketing skills relevant to retail banking products
- Have basic knowledge of operating systems
- Hold a valid driving license, which is mandatory for the role
