Job description
Large Saudi enterprises running on AWS need someone who understands both their business and their cloud estate, and this Senior Technical Account Manager fills that role within Enterprise Support. Technical cloud strategies are crafted and executed to drive adoption across Compute, Storage, Database, Big Data, AI/ML, Networking and Serverless. Keeping each customer's AWS environment operationally healthy comes first, while also cutting cost and complexity. Discussions with senior leadership cover operational excellence, cloud maturity, support and risk management. When incidents happen, you lead the technical conversation on trade-offs and risk, then deliver detailed reviews of service disruptions. Monthly and quarterly metrics reviews and detailed pre-launch planning are regular parts of the cycle. Contacts range from developers to C-suite executives, and Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services Consultants and Sales Account Managers are close partners. Customer feedback also goes back to AWS product teams, since the TAM acts as the voice of the customer. Expect to bring 5+ years in design, implementation, operations or consulting with distributed applications and 5+ years of technical engineering, ideally including 24x7 operations and a customer-facing technical lead role.
