Job description
We are seeking a Deployment Strategist, a pivotal leadership role focused on driving the successful adoption and strategic implementation of AI-powered Agentforce solutions for our key customers. This role emphasizes solutioning, strategic oversight, and executive relationship management rather than hands-on execution. The Deployment Strategist will act as a trusted advisor, bridging customer strategic needs with product innovation, overseeing complex deployments, fostering collaboration, setting goals, and ensuring responsible AI usage. You will lead workshops, drive organizational readiness for AI adoption, and influence the product roadmap through direct field insights.

Key responsibilities
- Lead the analysis and strategic design of intelligent AI-powered agents within Salesforce environments using Agentforce, Data Cloud, Flow, and Salesforce APIs
- Provide oversight for successful deployment of Agentforce solutions, ensuring seamless integration, scalability, and security
- Serve as the primary front-facing contact for customers, building strong C-suite and stakeholder relationships
- Act as a strategic partner to customer executives, aligning AI solutions with operational and strategic goals
- Lead discussions around Agentic AI strategy, roadmapping, and responsible AI adoption
- Design and lead workshops such as agent design and jobs-to-be-done analysis to define AI solutions
- Guide creation of user-centric conversational AI experiences using conversation design principles
- Assess organizational readiness for AI adoption and guide process transformations for value realization
- Serve as a feedback loop to product/engineering teams to influence platform enhancements
- Drive adoption of responsible AI principles, including risk mitigation, bias testing, and guardrail setup
- Monitor project progress, address challenges, and ensure delivery of measurable business impact
Experience & skills
- 5+ years of experience in strategic solutioning and oversight of cloud-based technology deployments
- Proven track record of leading enterprise-level technology projects
- Understanding of Salesforce platform and ecosystem
- Experience with AI/LLM deployments and end-to-end engagement management
- Strong problem-solving in ambiguous, unstructured environments
- Proven experience managing executive customer relationships in advisory or consulting roles
- Experience in responsible AI practices, conversation design, and prompt engineering
- Ability to travel up to 60% of the time
- Preferred: Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud and Agentforce platform
- Preferred: Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Data Cloud Consultant, Agentforce Specialist)
- Preferred: Experience deploying AI in regulated industries (healthcare, finance)
- Knowledge of AI/ML concepts including natural language processing
