Job description

Within Red Sea Global’s Operations division and Supply Chain and Logistics department, the Senior Specialist – Receiving oversees and optimizes distribution center receiving processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with established procedures. The role manages end-to-end receiving operations, including unloading, sorting, and processing inbound shipments; ensures accurate and timely documentation by updating inventory systems and generating receiving reports; provides leadership and guidance to receiving operators to drive efficiency, accuracy, and continuous improvement; coordinates with vendors and suppliers to address receiving-related issues, schedule and coordinate deliveries, and resolve discrepancies; collaborates cross-functionally with inventory control, warehouse management, purchasing, transportation, and quality control to streamline receiving activities and improve overall supply chain efficiency; monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) for receiving to identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions; drives process optimization initiatives to enhance receiving efficiency; and ensures adherence to relevant safety and regulatory requirements within the receiving area, contributing to the overall success of distribution center operations.
