Masdar, the UAEās leading clean energy company and a global pioneer in renewable energy and green hydrogen, is seeking an experienced UAE National to join as Head of Marketing & Events within its Brand & Strategic Initiatives division in Abu Dhabi. The role is a key leadership position responsible for developing and implementing integrated marketing strategies and managing high-profile corporate events that enhance Masdarās brand visibility across the UAE and internationally. Reporting to senior leadership, the incumbent will oversee a team of marketing and event professionals, ensuring the delivery of innovative, high-impact campaigns and events that align with the organizationās sustainability-driven mission and strategic goals. The Head of Marketing & Events will manage the full marketing lifecycle, including brand strategy, digital marketing initiatives, event planning, stakeholder engagement, and budget control. The role requires a deep understanding of the UAE market, cultural dynamics, and regulatory environment. The successful candidate will lead the execution of marketing plans that drive engagement, increase brand equity, and position Masdar as a global clean energy champion. Responsibilities include analyzing market trends and consumer insights, fostering relationships with media and strategic partners, and ensuring all marketing and event initiatives adhere to Masdarās brand standards and values. Candidates must demonstrate proven leadership in managing large-scale marketing operations and corporate events, with strong strategic, analytical, and communication skills in both English and Arabic.

Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to strengthen Masdarās brand presence and support corporate objectives
- Lead and manage the Marketing & Events team, promoting innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence
- Oversee the planning, execution, and post-evaluation of major corporate events, exhibitions, and marketing campaigns
- Manage marketing and event budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness and strong return on investment (ROI)
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to align marketing initiatives with business priorities and organizational goals
- Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive positioning to inform strategic decisions
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, partners, government entities, and media organizations
- Drive the integration of digital marketing technologies and data-driven approaches into marketing programs
- Ensure all campaigns and events comply with UAE regulations and cultural sensitivities
- Monitor and report marketing and event performance metrics to senior management
- Oversee the development of content, visuals, and communication materials that reflect Masdarās sustainability mission
- Enhance internal and external brand visibility through innovative engagement initiatives and public relations strategies
Experience & skills
- UAE National status is mandatory
- Bachelorās degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; Masterās degree preferred
- 10ā12 years of progressive experience in marketing and events management, including at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Proven success in planning and executing large-scale marketing campaigns and high-profile corporate events
- Strong expertise in brand strategy, digital marketing, and project management
- Excellent leadership and team management capabilities, with ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams
- Fluency in both English and Arabic, with exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Deep understanding of UAE market dynamics, business culture, and regulatory frameworks
- Proficiency in developing and managing marketing budgets, ensuring financial efficiency and ROI optimization
- Ability to analyze performance data and leverage insights to improve campaign outcomes
- Strong stakeholder management skills and established network within the UAE business and media community
- Capacity to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
