Job description
The Cluster Manager – Marketing at Amaala Yacht Club is responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote the club, attract new members, marina users, and enhance the club's brand image. The role includes brand management, digital marketing, social media strategy (paid and organic), website optimization, content creation, email marketing, online advertising, member acquisition and retention programs, event promotion for regattas, social gatherings, and training programs, and stakeholder communication. The manager conducts market research, competitor analysis, monitors member preferences, and ensures marketing initiatives deliver measurable ROI. The position requires managing budgets, aligning marketing strategies with the club's overall objectives, following policies, processes, and standard operating procedures, ensuring safety, quality, and environmental compliance, and driving continuous improvement in marketing operations. Experience in yacht clubs or luxury hospitality, membership management, and the ability to work collaboratively and independently is critical.

- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for Amaala Yacht Club and Marina to attract members and enhance brand image.
- Manage and enhance the yacht club's brand identity, ensuring consistency in messaging, visual identity, and brand perception.
- Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns including website optimization, content creation, social media management, email marketing, and online advertising.
- Design and implement member acquisition and retention programs to drive membership growth and engagement.
- Promote events such as regattas, social gatherings, and training programs through marketing materials, online platforms, and collaborations with other organizations.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform marketing decisions and identify opportunities for growth.
- Develop clear messaging for all marketing channels including social media posts, newsletters, press releases, and website content.
- Manage marketing budget, allocate resources effectively, track expenses, and ensure positive return on investment.
- Prepare functional MIS reports and statements to meet corporate and operational requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of marketing processes, systems, and practices following international best practices.
Experience & skills
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Advertising, Communications or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in membership management or a similar role within hospitality, private members club, or sport and leisure industry.
- Strong sales and customer service skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience with membership management systems and tools.
- Experience in planning and organizing events and activities.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Fluency in English and Arabic.
- Experience in a yacht club or similar luxury hospitality setting is preferred.
