The Director of Development is tasked with developing and executing strategic plans for world-class, sustainable communities. This leadership role oversees master planning, product positioning, and multidisciplinary design coordination, ensuring alignment between development, engineering, and construction teams. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of international mega-project experience and a strong background in both strategic development and operational delivery with a focus on creating high-end, sustainable environments.

Key responsibilities
- Develop short- and long-term development strategies aligned with the mandate for thriving communities
- Continuously refine product positioning for master plans during all development stages
- Collaborate with teams to create architectural, landscape, engineering, and design concepts in line with business goals
- Integrate net-zero and LEED Platinum-equivalent sustainability standards into development plans
- Curate and execute high-caliber design strategies aligned with global project visibility
- Maintain and coordinate project development schedules with feasibility and phasing strategies
- Coordinate with construction teams and external contractors throughout all project phases
- Manage contractual relationships and monitor consultant, contractor, and operator performance
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās in architecture, engineering, mechanical or construction; Masterās in real estate development or related field
- Minimum 20 years of experience in real estate development, including international mega projects
- Experience across design, development management, investment strategy, market analysis, and construction
- Proven record in delivering large-scale, residentially led developments using internal and matrixed teams
- Experience incorporating cutting-edge technology and sustainability into design and delivery
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills across multidisciplinary environments
- Track record of managing top-tier advisors, consultants, architects, and subcontractors
