Job description
As a Portfolio Manager at Keyper, the role manages and expands a portfolio of landlords and real estate investors to optimize asset performance through strategic advisory and data-driven insights while promoting the Keyper app as the primary platform for property and portfolio management. Core scope includes advising on rental yield optimization, portfolio structuring, and market trends; conducting regular performance reviews of managed properties; developing financial models and projections covering revenue, expenses, and ROI; and serving as the primary advisor to landlords to ensure seamless property management via the platform. The position educates landlords on value appreciation, tenant retention strategies, and market conditions; collaborates with property management teams to drive operational excellence, tenant satisfaction, and compliance; and resolves landlord concerns around performance, maintenance, and leasing strategies. Commercial responsibilities include owning a book of high-value landlords and investors for retention and revenue growth, identifying cross-sell/upsell opportunities across the Keyper ecosystem, running routine portfolio reviews with decision-makers, and negotiating contract renewals, upgrades, and pricing. Technology enablement involves acting as a Keyper platform expert, training landlords on property tracking, rental collection, and financial reporting, and channeling user feedback to product and tech. The role continuously tracks real estate market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor offerings to refine value propositions and provide data-backed recommendations that improve Keyper’s landlord and investor solutions. - Advise landlords and investors on maximizing returns via rental yield optimization, portfolio structuring, and analysis of market trends
- Use data-driven insights to align investment decisions with client financial goals and conduct regular portfolio performance reviews
- Develop financial models and projections to illustrate revenue, expense, and ROI scenarios for client assets
- Serve as primary advisor to landlords, ensuring seamless property management through the Keyper platform
- Educate clients on value appreciation drivers, tenant retention strategies, and current market conditions
- Collaborate with property management teams to ensure operational excellence, tenant satisfaction, and compliance
- Resolve landlord concerns related to performance, maintenance, and leasing strategies
- Own and manage a portfolio of high-value landlords and investors to drive retention and revenue growth
- Identify and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the Keyper ecosystem
- Lead regular portfolio review meetings with landlords and key decision-makers
- Negotiate and manage contract renewals, upgrades, and pricing discussions
- Act as an expert on the Keyper app, training landlords on property tracking, rental collection, and financial reporting
- Provide product feedback to tech teams to improve user experience and feature adoption
- Monitor real estate market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor offerings to refine services
- Deliver data-backed recommendations to enhance Keyper’s landlord and investor offerings
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in investment advisory, portfolio management, or property management (proptech or real estate preferred)
- Strong understanding of real estate asset management, rental markets, and investment strategies
- Data-driven approach with expertise in forecasting and investment analysis
- Experience working with landlords, high-net-worth investors, and property management teams
- Tech-savvy with the ability to train and guide clients on digital property management solutions
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills
- Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred), Excel, and data visualization platforms
