Key responsibilities

• Management and handling of potentially stressed and/or restructured portfolio to retain quality in line with business policies
• Negotiate, structure and recommend restructuring solutions in conformity with underwriting standards and risk targets
• Maintain and manage existing group accounts in the stressed portfolio
• Provide expertise for proactive monitoring and management of watch-listed clients
• Conduct regular client visits and record them through call reports
• Target upgrading problematic relationships into creditworthy business relationships
• Target orderly repayment plans for problematic relationships
• Ensure effective and professional internal and external communications to improve turnaround time and client satisfaction
• Ensure timely credit administration through annual reviews and monitoring financials and covenants
• Manage a team of Relationship Officers, set targets, provide guidance and conduct performance reviews
• Comply with internal audit requirements to maintain consistency and high standards
• Keep abreast of developments in the local business environment and contribute to corporate strategy
• Provide management with regular reports and MIS
• Develop strong local contacts within the business and financial community
