Job description
DM specifications set the benchmark for every milestone on this sewerage system project. Working alongside the resident engineer, you will build the Project execution plan, sequencing milestones with proper engineering techniques and setting targets for each activity. Timescales and costs are estimated in Primavera. Day-to-day progress monitoring takes up much of the week, with weekly and monthly reports that flag potential delays or slippages early. Field results are tracked and analysed, and planned progress is compared with actual progress so that any differences reach the lead project manager quickly. Part of the job is also studying the impact of alternative approaches when the programme comes under pressure. The position suits a civil engineer with at least fifteen years in design and construction programming and planning on similar projects, holding a relevant degree from a recognized university.
