As a Transactions Diligence Executive within EY’s Transaction Diligence team in Abu Dhabi (Nationals Only), you will work at the forefront of high-profile transactions delivering due diligence across a range of situations and sectors within MENA, operating as part of a wider cross service line team. Core work includes financial due diligence: assessing a target company’s finances and business projections, identifying opportunities, risks, sensitivities, and potential mitigations, and reporting findings to clients, banks, investors, and other parties. Responsibilities span analysing the financial and operational results of companies targeted for sale by reviewing accounting records and participating in interviews with management; researching technical accounting issues to evaluate implications on transaction valuation and structuring; preparing analyses of financial information to assess trends and fluctuations; assisting in preparing reports and schedules delivered to clients; and maintaining productive working relationships. The role requires knowledge of IFRS, the ability to analyse financial and non-financial information to formulate views and conclusions, strong analytical capability, presentation and report writing skills, and excellent command of spoken and written English, with proficiency in Arabic as an advantage. Preferred background includes transactions/auditing experience and client-facing experience from a professional services environment.
