Job description
The Assistant Manager – Finance Control & Reporting role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timely delivery of financial control and reporting activities. This position focuses on managing accounting operations, consolidating data, preparing management reports, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes. The role involves analyzing financial performance, monitoring budget adherence, conducting variance analysis, ensuring compliance with internal and external financial regulations, and maintaining robust internal controls. The incumbent works closely with internal and external stakeholders to provide accurate financial insights, support audit processes, and contribute to financial planning, forecasting, and performance measurement. The position is full-time and specifically targeted for UAE Nationals, based at the Meydan, Nadd Al Shiba location in Dubai.

Key responsibilities
- Ensure accuracy, integrity, and timely delivery of financial control and reporting processes.
- Prepare management and financial reports including variance analysis and key performance metrics.
- Consolidate accounting data across multiple departments or business units.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
- Monitor budget performance and provide financial analysis to support management decisions.
- Maintain compliance with internal accounting policies, external regulations, and reporting standards.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial data and processes.
- Support internal and external audits with required documentation and reconciliations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate financial information and reporting.
- Contribute to financial process improvement initiatives and system enhancements.
Experience & skills
