Job description
The Investment Analyst at IFZA Dubai plays a key supporting role in the firmâs investment strategy. This individual will collaborate closely with the Director and investment team, providing crucial insights through detailed financial analyses, benchmarking reports, and valuation models. The role encompasses working across various asset classesâsuch as operating companies, real estate, and special assetsâto evaluate opportunities, monitor portfolio performance, and support strategic decision-making processes. This position is tailored for early-career professionals who are intellectually curious, analytically driven, and eager to grow into senior investment roles. Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive market scans to identify trends, risks, and opportunities relevant to IFZA's investment thesis
- Develop and maintain valuation models including DCF, LBO, and comparables for various asset classes
- Assist in building business cases and conducting scenario analysis to support investment decisions
- Prepare high-quality presentation materials and investment decks for the Investment Committee
- Benchmark performance metrics of potential and existing investments against industry peers
- Work with the Business Intelligence team to coordinate financial and operational data inputs
- Support internal decision-making with insightful reporting and analytics on portfolio performance
- Track key market indicators and prepare periodic investment updates for internal stakeholders
- Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, legal, and operations teams to streamline investment processes
Experience & skills
- Bachelorâs degree in Finance, Economics, or a closely related field is mandatory
- CFA certification is preferred, showcasing a strong foundation in financial analysis and ethics
- 1â2 years of experience in high-caliber finance environments such as private equity, venture capital, investment banking, or Big 4 Transaction Services
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced setting
- Proven attention to detail and numerical accuracy in financial modelling and data interpretation
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel for financial modelling and PowerPoint for executive presentations
- Excellent stakeholder management capabilities with a collaborative and results-driven mindset
- A proactive and solution-oriented attitude, with an ownership mentality towards tasks and responsibilities
- Understanding of financial KPIs and the ability to develop tracking systems for performance reporting
