Job description
The Manager Mobility Products role is responsible for end-to-end ownership of mobility products and services within a leading telecommunications and digital services provider in the UAE. The position supports and collaborates with segment business teams to design, develop, enhance, prioritize, and manage new and existing mobility products, services, and offers in line with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) guidelines and expected technology developments. The role ensures alignment between product specifications and technical feasibility, translating business requirements into solution design and final products. It involves leading agile sessions to finalize macro and detailed product specifications, managing the feasibility and approval lifecycle from demand submission through production deployment, and conducting post-production commercial validation based on predefined user acceptance criteria. The role also includes development of work instructions, FAQs, PCR validation, and validation of PLM documentation inputs. The Manager oversees products from ideation to go-to-market, post-GTM performance, and eventual decommissioning or retirement. Additionally, the role manages launch governance, aligns cross-functional stakeholders including Revenue Assurance, Finance, Pricing, Sales, Regulatory, IT, Infrastructure, and Customer Operations, and continuously improves PLM processes. The position is accountable for regulatory liaison, compliance with TDRA, TRA, government and internal policies, handling product-related complaints, coordinating with IOC and Fraud teams, and managing internal and external audit requirements related to mobility products and services.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Support and participate with segment business teams in designing and developing new mobility products, services, and offers while enhancing existing products in line with PLM guidelines
- Maintain alignment between product specifications and technical feasibility, ensuring accurate translation of business requirements into solution design and final products
- Lead agile sessions with stakeholders to finalize macro and detailed product specifications according to the PLM process
- Manage business requirements feasibility and solution design approval lifecycle from demand submission to production deployment
- Conduct commercial post-production validation based on predefined user acceptance criteria
- Develop work instructions, FAQs, and perform PCR validation for products and services
- Validate and challenge PLM document inputs from Business Units for completeness and accuracy
- Own full product lifecycle accountability from ideation through go-to-market, post-GTM management, and product decommissioning
- Lead launch SPOCs and project teams to ensure streamlined and on-target product launches
- Align business requirements with Revenue Assurance, Finance, Pricing, Sales, Regulatory, IT, Infrastructure, and Customer Operations teams
- Continuously review and improve PLM processes to enhance efficiency and alignment with operational reality
- Manage end-to-end go-to-market execution for mobility products, services, and offers
- Liaise with Regulatory Affairs regarding new policies and directives affecting mobility products and services
- Manage and resolve complaints related to owned mobility products, services, and offers
- Coordinate with IOC and Fraud teams to minimize mobility-related complaints and abuse
- Ensure compliance with TDRA, TRA, government, and company policies and manage audit reports related to mobility products and services
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in telecom engineering, business, marketing, or equivalent with a Master’s degree preferred
- Certification in agile methodologies, project management, product management, or digitalization considered an added value
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, marketing, and telecom business or technology within the telecom or related industry
- Strong understanding of the telecommunications industry with a focus on mobility across consumer and enterprise domains
- Demonstrated expertise in Product Lifecycle Management and go-to-market execution
- Proficiency in Excel and database management
- Experience in regulatory compliance, internal audit coordination, and fraud or complaint management within telecom environments
